Two sisters, one kitchen
SMACK is a small lunch restaurant at Vagnvägen 13 in Varberg, run by us two sisters, Evelin and Amilia. We combine what we each do best: Evelin looks after the guests, the orders and everything around them, while Amilia runs the kitchen and sets the flavours.
The idea is simple – breakfast and lunch that is quick, fresh and filling, but cooked with the same care as at home. Hearty sandwiches, bowls and salads, plus a breakfast that makes it worth getting up a little earlier.
Evelin
The big sister and the one who has the absolute best handle on things. A social genius who can sometimes chat a little too much. She has many years of experience in sales and marketing, and knows everything about putting trips together. Incredibly positive and (almost always) wears a smile.

Amilia
An optimist's optimist who doesn't worry unnecessarily. Has always worked with fitness and still does on a small scale. Experimented in the kitchen as a child and is the most flavour-confident of us. Has a hard time sitting still, so if you see someone walking on their hands in the kitchen, that's certainly Millan.

Homemade from scratch
We cook from scratch in our own kitchen. The granola for the breakfast yoghurt is our own, we cook the berry compote ourselves and the marmalade is homemade. Sandwiches are built on the spot and bowls and salads are prepared fresh every day.
We choose our ingredients with care, with local touches whenever we can. The menu is deliberately short – it keeps everything we serve fresh and lets us keep the quality consistent from day to day.
What we believe in
Good ingredients, clear flavours and a satisfying texture – from the first bite to the last. That is what every sandwich and bowl here is built on.
The meeting matters just as much. We want you to feel seen when you walk in, whether you grab a coffee on the go or sit down for a while. Many of our guests come back week after week, and that is the best feedback we could ask for.

You will find us at Vagnvägen 13 in Varberg. We are open Monday 11–14 and Tuesday–Friday 07–14 – breakfast from early morning and lunch until 2 pm. Drop-in works best, and take-away is just as welcome.
